Peace House CIG Bamenda is Providing Capacity Building
We have developed and build our own Peace House CIG training and mentoring tool kit.
We Shape the Perfect Solutions for Communities base on their needs
We provide training to local communities and their leadership based on our long term observation of their urgent specific needs. This has given us the opportunity to build synergy and understanding in the proper implementation of projects in the current violent arm conflict affected communities of Cameroon.
Our Projects and Field Work
Peace House Common Initiative Group has developed and currently conducts very important projects and field work in the local hinterland communities in Cameroon.
We Help CSO Leaders
To Achieve Their Goals
We have been at the center of community mobilization and capacity building for the good of local communities. We build capacity of individuals and local institutions. We identify viable peace building solutions and alternatives and promote them to the local communities.
Peace House CIG Capacity Building on Health and Wellness
Peace House Common Initiative Group provides training guide, mentoring and material support to local communities and clients that is currently helping them to produce Environmentally Friendly and Healthy Organic Food for their local consumption. We grow, process and distribute our Peace House CIG Organic products that promote Health and Wellness in our local Communities in Cameroon.
Organic Agriculture and Environmental Protection is at the Heart of our Peace House CIG Local Community Projects Capacity Building
We promote and facilitate local women seeking help to grow their own organic crops such as mushrooms, turmeric, ginger, green kitchen vegetables and other crops that enhance their proper nutrition and development of our local community peoples.
We give consideration and take seriously the advancement of local food components that bring our community people back to their roots tied to their tradition and culture heritage.
Our Focus is on Providing Relief to Women and Children
The African Child is observed to be well bonded to their female parents and guidance. In Cameroon, where women go, they go along with their dependent children. The relief services of the Peace House CIG Bamenda are developed and run taking into consideration these local community socio-cultural realities of women and children.
The current Anglophone Cameroon Violent Arm Conflict which has so far metamorphosed across the past six years, has left a significant percentage of communities of the predominantly Anglophone Cameroon in destitution, leading over 90% of women to move as Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) to relatively peaceful pockets of peaceful shelters into the major cities such as Bamenda. The education of children had been disrupted counting for over 6 years with no hope of government established local educational institutions becoming as functional as previously, as they have visibly become significant target of the war stakeholders.
The Peace House is therefore providing Advocacy and Mediation processes seeking to bridge this vicious gape, by providing Psycho Counseling to Individuals and Groups on call, as well as directly to local communities and community organized meetings.
Peace House CIG is focused on providing quality charity relief services to Women escaping domestic violence, destitution and persecution; who are mostly now coming from the local communities currently affected by the raging Anglophone Violent Arm Conflict and destitute clients arriving the Peace House.
When we get the opportunity, we always visit the origination communities of our clients to cross check their current realities, while finding and engaging on local conflict mediation processes that help alleviate the issues. This has given us the opportunity to meet with local community leaders who are stakeholders in their communities.
