CAPACITY BUILDING, TRAINING, SOCIAL MEDIA, TALK SHOW AND CARAVAN
GEED FOUNDATION currently runs Capacity Building Training programs which include radio talk shows, face to face talk show meetings and street caravans which help youths and community members to showcase their talents, while giving opportunity those with issues to present their problems and we provide on-the-spot advice and solutions. We further provide with follow up interventions where help is needed. We have so far given advise on local conflict mediation tactics, local project feasibility study and concept note writing, community project support mobilization, leadership development skills to women and youth groups, as well as seed funding to local women small start-up projects.
Our members have been mentored, supported in-house and we keep seeking means which would continue to give us the opportunity to extend our out reach to hard to reach remote communities which currently are demanding to benefit from our programs after seeing the good impact of our already running programs in the current GEED FOUNDATION collaborating communities.
GEED FOUNDATION through its Observatory and active community interventions have seen that; giving the opportunity to local community leaders and especially to women to express their socio-cultural, political grievances, listening to their perception and letting them give suggestions to their own local development needs and projects, can go a long way towards Peace Building and Community living together in Cameroon.
